Starting from the port of Adamas, we will see on our right hand the traditional fishing villages;
we name them “Syrmata ”: Skinopi, Areti, Fourkovouni, and Klima. Then we will see “the Bears”
at the port entrance- two large rocks shaped like bears. After this, we will cross the opening of
the port of Adamas, which is the second-largest natural port in the eastern Mediterranean. We
will reach the fantastic cape of Vani, the enormous emerging volcanic rock in the
The Mediterranean Sea, consisting of obsidian, iron, and manganese of particular morphology.
Sailing along the west coast of Milos, we will see a series of lovely beaches such as Agathia,
Triades, Ammoudaraki, and Saint John Siderianos’ monastery two-miracles site. West Milos is
an area under the Natura 2000 European program to conserve rare flora and fauna species.
Afterward, we will stop outside the cave of Sykia, where there is a unique beach inside the cave
which roof has collapsed. Our next destination is Kleftiko, the famous site with towering, white
limestone rocks that form caves and tunnels of different colors depending on how the sun
reflects on the seawater. Kleftiko is an old pirate’s hideout of magnificent beauty and one of the
best-protected places from the northern winds in the Mediterranean.
After we drop anchor, we get ready for Exploring the Caves, a remarkable experience for both
adults and children. We put on our masks and fins and swim freely close to the sea caves. A bit
later, an inflatable rib takes you inside the caves for a complete exploration task. A unique
experience with a guide and free marine equipment (masks, flippers, snorkels.)
a lovely meal is expecting us, freshly prepared on board, along with a large greek
salad. We will eat with the view of the beautiful Kleftiko, and then relax and enjoy the sea. We
will stop for a swim at Kalogries, the picturesque little church of Agios Dimitrios, or lovely Klima
on the return journey. When sailing across the bay of Adamas, we enjoy the sunset, and about
7-8 o’clock, we reach our final destination – Adamas port, full of memories from a great day
