The tour will start at the picturesque capital of Milos,Plaka, which impresses tourists with its authentic charmand beauty. Here, you will have the opportunity to visit an old, refurbished café, where you can indulge intraditional Greek Coffee made the real way. You canalso sample the famous watermelon pie and other delightful homemade sweet flavours, such as a delicious“Κoufeto.” The tradition and method of producing this“spoon sweet” will be explained.
Plaka village is elevated above the Gulf of Milos, offeringfantastic bay views and passing sailing yachts. You will admire the scenery and take memorable photographs before heading onto one of the most visited sites on theisland, Sarakiniko. Sarakiniko has been shaped throughmillions of years of erosion and volcanic activity, which
has led to a dramatic lunar-like landscape resembling life on the moon.
Next, we visit the unique Volcanic Cave Winery, where you can sample the local wine varieties and delicious produce grown on the farm. The winery is nestled between the shade of olive trees, creating a beautiful and relaxing setting.
Further on, our next stop is at the incredible volcanic swimming pool of Papafragas Cave, situated alongside the ruins of one of the most important prehistoric sites of the Aegean Sea, Phylakopi.
